You wouldn't be able to hide the particular file, but your can password protect the directory if you like. To do so, you may follow these steps:

Hello zaher.rajae@gmail.com,

Just like Joomla, there are many plugins available for password protecting files in Wordpress, such as the WordPress Download Manager. With the plugins I looked into, you have to use the installed plugin to upload the file, then protect it. It cannot protect an existing file in a separate folder.

I found this by searching in the Official Wordpress Plugin Directory.

If you are selling digital/downloadable products, you can use the WP e-Commerce plugin, which is covered in our guide titled "Selling Digital (Downloadable) Products in WP e-Commerce for WordPress ." This is part of our Beginner's Guide to Selling Downloadable Products .

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
