Is there something i am missing here. First time I have used Muse to design a site. I came from the old Frontpage>Expression Web software. Anyway, the site is exporting the index file as index.html.muse which the server is not recognizing as a homepage. I attempted to rename it in the server folder root file but that just turned into a page of code-looking gibberish.
How do I convert this Page/Site to just an index.html file that the server will recognize?

Hello SincCityExaminer,

Thanks for the question and sorry for the headache you're having. The problem is the result of Adobe getting into the hosting business using their software. Fortunately, when I looked up some of their documentation, they do have an export option. Take a look at Uploading Site to Third Party hosting. You should see an option to export as HTML.

I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I had done this previously and I still couldnt figure out why it was still saving as index.html.muse in the Muse folder. Now that you said that and I read HTML again, and them read farther into the exporting instructions, Muse sets up a completely different folder(Muse Export) where the normal index.html file is along with sitemap, etc.

Thanks for your help.
