what do I do to prevent spammers from writing in my guestbook?

I have been having problems with spam being posted in my guestbook and I want to prevent that from happening. What do I do?

Hello Necintell,

The captcha feature is designed to stop bots from leaving comments on your guestbook. There are, however, bots smart enough to infiltrate capthcas (though not as many) as well as humans themselves making the spam posts.

Unfortunately, there is no fool proof way to keep any spam off of a blog, forum, or guestbook. It comes with the territory. The best defense is to visit and remove any spam every so often. We do so on our own forums every day.
