Hello, Thank you for your question on your 404 page. A 404 is an error meaning that the page being requested cannot be found. There are two reasons this can occur. The first is that the page literally does not exist. The data for that page has either not been created or was deleted. Int his case, rebuilding the page will fix the issue. The second is that the pathing is incorrect. This means that the program is expecting the page to be in a specific place but it is not there. The page or data may indeed exist, but if the setting controlling that path is incorrect you will get a 404 error. If it is a test site be sure you have set the URL correctly. One way to check to ensure it is that specific installation is to install a fresh one on a test subdomain. If that works then you know it is not Joomla itself but something specific to your particular installation. Unfortunately in the Support Center we cannot give account specific advice as it requires you to provide account sensitive information. This cannot be done in the public space here. If it is indeed account specific then you will need to work with Live Support to walk through your settings. Kindest Regards, Scott M |
