Hello again,

After transferring all the necessary files and databases to hub from my recent move from another host, I have gone in and changed the configuration files for Joomla and phpBB3 to reflect the move. The problem is nothing happens, still get a 404 error and tests with the main index.php don't seem to change anything either. I am at a loss as to why. The nameservers which I changed the day before seem to have propagated according to the technical info - or have they?

I figure I am just overlooking something, as I usually do. I would sincerely appreciate for someone to poke around and provide some assistance.

My apologies if this is in the wrong category.

Hello knottyolly,

Thank you for your question. I saw a .htaccess file in your public_html folder. As a test I renamed the file

from: .htaccess

to:
.htaccess.old

Renaming this file causes your site to use the default .htaccess file.

Now your site appears to be loading. This is most likely due to something being coded incorrectly in the uploaded file now named .htaccess.old.
