After installing Moodle using Fantastico, when I try to visit the site in my domain for the first time, it gives me the following message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/webmar8/public_html/study/lib/accesslib.php on line 5288

Hello ajitkumar,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Moodle installation. the Moodle version available through Fantastico requires PHP version 5.3 to run properly. If you are currently on a server that does not support PHP 5.3, please submit a request to our Support Department to request an account move. Please make sure you include the cPanel user name or main domain name on the account along with account verification (either your AMP password or last 4 digits of the credit card on file).

You can check your PHP version by looking at the stats area on the left side of the cPanel home page when you log into cPanel.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
