Hello Suinier, Thank you for your question about uploading your site created with Sandvox. Yes, you can upload your site built with Sandvox. YOu can either publish from within Sandvox itself or use an FTP program to publish your files. If you would like to use the built-in publishing from within Sandvox, begin by accessing the Host Setup Assistant within Sandvox. This will bring up the Host Overview. You will want to choose "On a Remote Host" for where your website will be published. Please enter the following for your Host Settings when publishing to a Web Hosting Hub account (if the domain is already pointed to our Nameservers): URL Format: http://www.yourdomain.com (please replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name) Hostname: yourdomain.com (again replacing yourdomain.com with your actual domain name) Upload Method: FTP Username: Your cPanel username Password: Your cPanel password (if you need to reset this, please see our article How to reset your cPanel password from within AMP Document Root: public_html Once you have tested your connection in Sandvox, you can then publish your site from Sandvox. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. Regards, Christi N. |
I've included all of the above information, but when I click on Continue, Sandvox(web design program) reports "Errors encountered, test failed. Please go back and check your settings". It seems like all of the information is right, I just need the port number
