Can I still use the sitebuilder I paid for in my soon-to-be old hosting service once I host my domain on Web Hosting Hub?

Hello!

I have a domain with its website hosted somewhere else. To make the website, I paid the hosting service a separate fee for the site builder (that is, a completely separate payment from the hosting subscription but through the link provided by the hosting service).

Now that I want to host the domain (as an addon domain) on web hosting hub, can I still use that site builder I paid thru my current hosting service? If so, how do I do it?

If not, how will I be able to make changes on the website after I would have transferred hosting for this domain (as an addon domain) to web hosting hub?

Hello mingab, and thanks for your question.

Unfortunately it's really all going to depend on exactly what sitebuilder your previous host was using. If it is proprietary software than more than likely you won't be able to continue to publish updates from it to your account with us. However if it accepts a remote hostname and doesn't require special software being installed on the server-side on our end, then more than likely you could continue to use it to update your website.

We also have a Premium Website Builder available, and you can review the following link to see how to get that setup on your account:

This ultimately is more than likely going to be a question best resolved over a support ticket or online chat. That way we can pull up the full information of your account and go into a deeper discussion on the exact specifics of the software being used.

In order to submit a ticket, please shoot an e-mail to (support@webhostinghub.com) being sure to include your username, and the original cPanel password of your account or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file for verification. Or you can submit a ticket directly through our support interface here:

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.
