I created the site with site builder but wasn't able to find a theme I liked so I installed Word-press in it's own subdirectory, http://sitename/wordpress/ . Now I have the site created on word-press but if I open my site with http://sitename.org i get the original one created with site builder. How do I move the word-press site to be the default and eliminate the site builder one?
I apparently installed word-press twice, once in the root directory and once il the /word-press/ directory. How can I delete everything but the pages I created and start over?

Hello LionDan,

How do I move the word-press site to be the default and eliminate the site builder one?
I am not seeing any builder files in the account currently. Visiting the site shows a Wordpress installation with a few posts. In any case, the builder does not have an unpublish feature, but any files copied over with the same name will overwrite the builder files. We also have an article on how to move wordpress from one folder to another.

How can I delete everything but the pages I created and start over?
Wordpress keeps all the content in a database, so there are no "pages" that can be singled out to be saved. You can export the database and then import it over the new Wordpress installation to keep the content, however.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
