Trying to get started to build a website using my Mac but guidelines and instruction on getting started do not seem to apply. For example, trying to install WordPress but it is not in my preferences on C-panel. It does not send me to indicated panel for setting it up.
Are these guidelines exclusively for PCs? Hope not!!

Hello Anasol,

First, Wordpress is an internet application that does NOT differentiate on the platform it is using. So, if you're using a PC to launch it or Mac - it doesn't make a difference.

If you need help getting started with Wordpress, please review this installation guide:

How to Install using Softaculous

This walks you through using Softaculous. When you get into the application for Softaculous (in your Cpanel) you will see a Wordpress under Blogs. However, you can also find the shortcut for installing Wordpress in the Cpanel under the section that should be labeled Top Applications (typically a little further down the screen under Preferences).

The installation procedure from Softaculous will walk you through the process.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
