What is the total cost for a domain and web hosting?
I want to make sure I am not missing any hidden costs. I have searched, and the desired domain name I want is available. I just wanted to be sure of the price. Also, is the price a promotional price, if so, what will the domain registration cost and the web hosting cost be?Do I pay monthly, quarterly, yearly?

Hello slorider3, Thank you for your questions regarding hosting and domain registrations. When you sign up for hosting with us, one domain registration per year is included for free with your hosting plan. Any additional domain registrations would be $11.95 per year, per domain. If you would like to add Domain Privacy for any domain (other than .us domains) there is a charge of $9.99. New accounts are usually offered an introductory price which then automatically renews annually. When you sign up for hosting, you can choose between a one, two, or three year plan. So, I'm trying to set up a new account, but it's charging me $11.99 for the domain. Is it or is it not free for the first year? Am I doing it wrong?

Hello Katiuska,
Domains are offered free for the first year as long as no special promotions of coupon codes are used. Most special promotions and coupon codes will not allow for a free domain. In the case of special promotions, you are actually getting a better deal than you would with just a free domain. |
