Hello Manessa, It's a little backwards, so I can understand your confusion with it. You don't assign ATTRIBUTES to products directly from from the ATTRIBUTES section. You have to create the attributes and the attribute groups, then go into your PRODUCTS and then there is a tab to select the Attributes for that product.
