I have several problems with my xladept.com website: It's too big, one can't see the whole page on the monitor screen, and, both Safari and Chrome display none of my custom banner - which, in actuality is my logo.

I'd like to know where I can change the resolution - I suspect its come up 540 x whatever. And, I'd like to know where I can find the layout, in order to tweak it!

Hello Wizard,

Thank you for your questions about the layout of your site built with the Premium Website Builder. The page is so wide due to two things:

  • The custom banner image is 1,346 pixels wide X 232 pixels high.

  • The image inserted in the middle of the page is 1096 pixels wide X 836 pixels high.

In order to make these smaller, you will want to reduce the size of each image on your local computer before inserting them into your site in the Premium Website Builder.

I also did some testing and troubleshooting with your header image that is not showing up in Chrome or Safari. I pulled your site up in Chrome and see that the image is not showing. I took that same image and uploaded it in the builder and had no trouble previewing the site and the header image in the builder. I would recommend republishing your site from the Premium Website Builder.

Have you made any manual changes to the sites files that were published from the Premium Website Builder? If so, please keep in mind that this is not recommended because publishing from the builder will overwrite any changes you make manually to those files.

Please let us know if the above suggestions resolve the issues you are seeing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Christi N.
