Using Plesk Sitebuilder to build website and using the Image Gallery special page. If I try to save any type of edit to an item that has a largish image attached (seems to be around > 500K) the edit fails and I get the error "Error! Operation has not been completed".

I've looked in what error logs I have access to and I was getting a 413 page not found. (If I create a 413 page that goes away and I get no help from the logs.) So I think the problem is that it doesn't like the larger images.

I have tried using the Modsec manager to turn off mod_security in case it is one of the SecRequestLimits causing the problem. I've also tried editing my php.ini and .htaccess file to increase some of the limits available there.

Thanks for any help.

Hello Maryru,

The problem appears to be with a modsec rule that our systems team will need to review. The Builder program is on a separate server from the one that houses your website. So, what happens is that you're trying to send the image to the Builder server and it's refusing it. It will need to be investigated in depth by our systems team.

For now, I highly recommend reducing the size of the image if possible. Be aware that large images can cause possible issues with load times. So optimizing them to a smaller size would help the website viewing experience.

However, it's understandable that images of that size should be able to be handled through the Builder, so I am reporting this issue through a support ticket to our Systems team. I do not have access to the Builder server to check on the issues there, but they do, so they can investigate the issue more thoroughly. You will response to your issue through email.

Apologies that i can't resolve the issue immediately over the support center, but it will be reviewed by our systems team to see if there's anything they can do to resolve it..

Thanks for your patience! If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,
Arnel C.

This website is a side project for me, so I'm just now getting back to it. But I just updated a large group of images with no errors. Problem solved. Thank you very much.
