Hello Billclarke, Since both domain registrations web hosting are subscriptions, you will need to contact either billing or technical support via email/phone/chat and then request that the subscription be ended. You will need to specify how you want your domain subscription to end - either through expiration, or if you want to have the domain deleted. Otherwise, it will expire, but remain unavailable on the internet until the domain registrar releases it (typically 90 days later). If you let it expire, then it will live out its remaining time, then the registrar will automatically close it out. Domain registrars will typically hold onto the name (it will not be available for use on the internet) until they release it. If you elect to delete it, then the domain is immediately released. If you want to transfer the domain(s) to another domain registrar please refer to this article for further information: Unlocking a domain and obtaining the authorization code Also, please note that if you need to communicate with the Billing or live Technical Support department, you will need to provide verification of the account for security purposes. They verify with the last 4 digits of the credit card on the account or the Account Management Panel (AMP) password. If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Regards, Arnel C. |
