This question may sound somewhat paranoid, but after I requested transfer of my domain I received an email from Melbourne IT LTD with the subject of "Domain Name Transfer Of :(my domain) Request for Confirmation". Despite the fact that I also received an email appearing to be from Web Hosting Hub about this, I am cautious because (1) first, there was no mention of this in the onsite information that I read prior to initiating the transfer process, and (2) I am reluctant to respond simply on the basis of email information. I would appreciate confirmation, directly from you, that this is valid. Thank you.

Thank you for your question Pathwalker!

The email your received from Melbourne IT is valid. It is part of the transfer process. Sorry this was not clear when we initiated the transfer. Melbourne IT is the Domain Registrar we use at Web Hosting Hub. We are not a registrar. We only manage the domain for you.

By responding to the Melbourne IT email, you are acknowledging the domain transfer to our management with Melbourne IT. If for whatever reason you wish to transfer the domain away from our management at Melbourne IT and transfer the domain elsewhere, you can.

Best Regards,
James R
