I am trying to switch from Godaddy to your company, but I just called Godaddy and they said the domain hasn't transferred. I am also switching my hosting to you. Please let me know what else I need to do to make it all work.

Hi Gigamesh,

I do apologize for any confusion regarding your domain transfer. Your domain transfer completed successfully and you should have received a system generated email advising you the transfer completed. You can also check the status of a domain transfer from within AMP by clicking on the "Domain Transfers" link in the menu on the left side. Any pending transfers will be shown. If the transfer has completed you can view the domain by clicking the "Manage Domain" link in the AMP menu.

What GoDaddy may have been referring to is that your domain has not been pointed to our Nameservers. You can point the domain to our Nameservers through AMP (Account Management Panel). Once you have pointed the domain, please allow 4-24 hours for DNS to propagate.

While researching this, I noticed that it looks like you will be using WordPress for your site. You can easily install WordPress using Fantastico De Luxe in your cPanel. If you want to get started right away with WordPress before DNS fully propagates, you can also set up WordPress to work through your temporary URL until DNS propagation completes.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
