As you can see from my website, http://www.wix.com/polalor/republic; I have put a lot of time into it.

I had purchased a domain jurisprudential.net for $24.85, from Wix.com, only to be told the url would not be changed until I upgraded to a paid plan. Subsequently it remains: http://www.wix.com/polalor/republic. Furthermore, I'm all over Google but not a wix site in sight!

Researching I found; Wix.com is not search engine friendly (See http://davidodonnell.com.au/reasons-not-to-use-wix-com).

Subsequently; I am without luck trying to find a host that will transfer my site and domain. Any suggestions?

Hello polalor,

Wix sites are generally created with Flash templates, which are definitely not search engine friendly. If you are able to get the source files to transfer to another host, it will still not be search engine friendly because of that.

While we do have people with hosting accounts that use their emails here and point their domain names to wix.com sites, we do not do any wix site transfers over to our servers. We could, if they supply the source files, so it really lies with whether they will do that for you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
