I'm trying to move my partner's domain from 1&1 hosting to webhostinghub. I have the name servers pointed to hub, but your Domain Transfer Step 1 of 4 says that the domain is expired and has to be renewed with the current registrar.
However, a whois query shows that the name is not expired.

domain: LIONSANDLAMBS.NET
created: 21-Dec-2010
last-changed: 21-Dec-2012
registration-expiration: 21-Dec-2013

nserver: ns1.webhostinghub.com 205.134.224.133
nserver: ns2.webhostinghub.com 173.205.127.4

How can I get this domain transferred to you?

Your comment in red on the transfer request box says:
"Domain is expired and must be renewed with the current registrar before transferring"

but it's not expired. I've been trying to accomplish this for a couple of days

Hello sundagger, and thanks for your question.

Sorry to hear that you're having some problems getting your domain registration transferred over to us.

Did you just recently pay for and renew your domain registration with your previous Registrar? In some cases a Registrar will go ahead and renew a domain's registration so that the original owner still has a chance to claim the domain name, if they hadn't paid for it by the initial expiration date. Also in some cases our automated system might not be able to detect that a domain is indeed available to be transferred.

I'd recommend contacting your previous Registrar and ensuring that all fees up till 12/21/2012 were paid to them, and also have them confirm that the domain is un-locked and capable to be transferred away. While speaking with them if you can go ahead and directly request your domain transfer key we can also just use that to complete your domain transfer for you.

Please let us know if you had any further questions.

- Jacob
