I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my website information from my old host provider ipage.com for salvagedamerica.com which i recently transferred to your services.

I talked with a sales rep when I signed up who said I needed to give an authorization code to tech support.

What should i do now?

Hello Walworth,

You actually have 2 options - one, you can do on your own based on the following article - it works through the Account Management Panel (AMP):

Domain Transfers

Make sure to read through the information to clarify the step that you're doing - it's important to make sure you know the difference. Since you have your code, you're most of the way done, so this is probably what you need to do.

The second option is that we do the transfer for you (you can also apply this service to future transfers if necessary). We have an option called Domain Concierge where we handle the transfer for you - but with a small fee. If you wish to use the Domain Concierge service, please contact live technical support and request the Domain Concierge service. The transfer service (for us to handle it) is $20.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
