When registering with webhostinghub, I was attempting to transfer my personal page, www.jonnyschaab.com to your servers; however, the transfer didn't go through, and now it is too late to redirect the old nameservers. So here I am, stuck with a domain name on your servers that I can't access. I was hoping that there is something that we can do to remedy this situation of me paying for a service that I can't actually use... Please let me know if I can just switch to a new domain

Hello jschaab,

Thank you for your questions about transferring domains and changing the primary domain name on your account.

Let's begin with the domain transfer. I'm sorry, but it does not appear that the domain transfer was initiated through AMP or when you signed up with us. When transferring a domain, we recommend that the domain not be less than two weeks from expiring since a transfer can take that long and could expire before it completes. Additionally, it's also best to point the domain to our Nameservers before initiating that transfer.

If you would like to continue using the domain you signed up with, simply renew the registration with your current registrar and point the domain to our Nameservers. Domains do not have to be registered with us to be hosted on our servers. If you would like for us to manage the domain registration for you, you can then transfer the domain to our management. The transfer would be $11.99 and would extend your domain registration by one year. The domain would then renew for $11.99 per year with us.

If you would prefer to start over with a new domain name for your account, you can request a primary domain name change for your account. Please keep in mind that you will need to register your account's new domain name either through us (at $11.99 per year) or through somewhere else.

Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
