When I log into my site I am getting a message that reads as follows when I enter my username and request to reset the password (cannot remember original password)

"The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function."

However, I have looked through my setting here and no where do I have any email functions disconnected, and checked all settings so it looks like it should be working.
Please advise, thank you for your help!

Hello Tanya,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with recovering your password through the interface on the login of your website. I checked your account and it appears that you do have a WordPress site. There have been recent updates that require that you use SMTP settings within the WordPress Administrator for emails to be sent from the website server. The changes were a matter of security, as is the recovery of your password. If you require the recovery of your website password, you can do one of two things:

I would advise the latter if you want the issue resolved as soon as possible. I hope that this does help to answer your question. We unfortunately cannot resolve password related issues over the Support Center as these replies are open to the public. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
