I'm trying to install MediaWiki 1.21 and am getting a message that it requires at least PHP version 5.3.2, you are using PHP 5.2.17.

But this contradicts what my cpanel says I have, which is 5.3.27.

Why is my php version not being "seen" by MediaWiki?

I installed mediawiki using the cpanel script at the following location:

Hello Electrosketch,

Apologies for the problem that you're having with the PHP version. The issue has to do with how the servers are currently configured for your account. I will be sending your account an email message shortly explaining the issue and the steps necessary to correct it. For now, you want to install it, do the following:

1) Login to cPanel with this URL: ehub33.webhostinghub.com/cpanel
2) Run Softaculous from the cPanel and then you should be able to run the installation of MediaWiki there.

The version of PHP that you are seeing is because the cPanel that you're running is running from ehub22 - which is the problem that I will detail in the message to you shortly. I have to work with systems internally to get the issue fixed.

Apologies again for the confusion and inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any further questions regarding the matter.

Regards,
Arnel C.
