Hi, I'm having trouble today using PHPAdmin's SQL (and 'Edit') when working my data on 'paonia5'. The SQL is working oddly After using "Search" and using the results to Copy (and edit) a record, both records edded up with am odd character in the 'Loc' field where I had the second of two space characters. When I used by 'Trial Search page on my sight the results are presented as a small box and when copied to 'EDXOR' text editor and examined as HEXidecimal they are ASCII 63, or a question mark character. What's up? If I may be so nosey.

Hello gdmellott,

Thank you for your question. Normally, if there is an issue on a shared server, it would affect everyone on the server.

It is most likely not a server issue, as at this time no one else has reported any issues with PHPMyAdmin.

I appreciate the information you included, however can you provide the exact steps you are taking, so we can replicate the issue.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul

Thanks for responding. The introduction of the odd character behavior has stopped. That was my biggest concern. It is still not working the SQL page's user input normally. It is replacing my selection parameters, "WHERE `Loc` LIKE "NA 1%" with the default value of "WHERE 1" followed by the typically added
"ORDER BY `<TableName>`.`<FieldName>` ASC
LIMIT 0 , 30".

Calling up the smaller overlaying 'Edit' page and entering ones's parameters works fine. I have been using the 'Edit page (perhaps excusively), so the SQL page may have been working oddly before, and I just ignored it.

I'm sure you folks have your hands full. I not well myself just how much time such concerns can tie up. Sincerely...
