Hello Zhenguo, I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Hello World Python script. It took some investigation, but I've narrowed this down to most likely being due to either the editor you are using on your local computer to create and edit your scripts or the FTP transfer mode your FTP client is using. I tested this by creating a test file in your cgi-bin named hellotest.py and which is working as expected, so the issue is not with the server itself. I would recommend checking your FTP transfer mode (should be binary for our Linux based servers) and/or using a different editor for creating and editing your files. I found some helpful information on this in the following article online (specifically items 3 & 4 under Problems outside the script): 500 Internal Server Error in Python scripts Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. Regards, Christi N. |
