Hello cwpp2014,

Thank you for your question. Since there are many ways to design a multilingual website, this can be accomplished several ways depending on your site.

What type of CMS are you using to build your website?

For example, if you are using Wordpress, there are many plugins available for simplifying the multilingual setup. Here is a link to their official guide on making Wordpress multilingual.

Concrete5 also has an Internationalization Add-On, that makes the setup easier.

If you are hand-coding your website, an option could be:

  1. Create separate subdomains for each language.

  2. Put the flag buttons on the top, and have them redirect to the corresponding subdomain.

These are just a couple of options, since there are many solutions.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
