I admit that I'm an idiot and and allowed WordPress to overwrite my files without making sure it wasn't going to delete my entire web page. I built the page almost a year ago and wanted to start adding a blog but didn't like the format with web builder. I thought I was just using WordPress as my blog so I thought the files it was going to overwrite were the blogs I had on my webpage. I'm sure I'm SOL about the pages that were deleted and I can rebuild the site but I don't know how to get rid of WordPress so that I can get web builder back so I can redo my webpage.

Hello restorationccc,

I'm glad you found your Builder account. When you republish your Builder site, the files will be placed back, and your website should be restored.

If you still want to use Wordpress as a blog along with your Builder site, you can install Wordress in a different directory by entering a name for the "In Directory" option.

For example if you enter "blog" for the In Directory option, Wordpress would be installed in a "blog" folder, instead of on top of your Builder site.

Then you would access the Wordpress blog at:
example.com/blog

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
