I've added a .swf file to my host folder on public_html, however when I try to access it with the URL generated it states that the page isn't there. When I try to access it from another device using a copied link, I have to log into cPanel.

Hello,

Thanks for the question about embedding a SWF file on your Web Hosting Hub site. The main issue is that an SWF file needs a player if you are trying to launch it from a website. So, if you're trying to launch it from your computer, you would need a specific software in order to play the file. To circumvent this, you would need to embed the SWF file into a HTML page. Check out this explanation from an online forum that addresses the issue. You may also want to try following the steps in this solution: How to insert your Flash movies into your website.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
