Dear Web Hosting Hub,
I have a couple of questions re setting-up my blog:
i.) Any theme preview also simulated site that I can have a look before setting up my domain + hosting?
ii.) do you have any 'grace period' for blog construction before it goes public? Also, any function of putting up a 'under construction' screen once the domain set up while editting the blog before it displays public?
iii.) for the package price, does it include email account (under the domain name)?
iv.) do you have any newsletter function that can link with a blog? and how much will it be? does it cost extra if I would like to have a designated template / format for the newsletter?

Thank you so much.

Charles

Hello Charles,

I am happy an answer your questions today.

1) There are many different FREE software applications out there to build your site. It is not possible for us to provide a demo site for all of them. When you are deciding on a platform on which to build your site, the main site for that platform may have demos for you to look at.

2) Think of hosting as renting a building for your business. The hosting fee is essentially rent for the space, in this case, server space. Some build their sites in a day, some in a week, some never (yes, that actually happens), and some transfer pre-built sites over. The time begins when you sign up and will end either 1, 2, or 3 years after to the day, depending on the plan you chose. So no, there really is not any grace period for one to build and launch their site. In fact, most sites are continuously worked on, so they are never really finished.

3) Yes, the hosting fee includes email services. The upper limit is something like 2500 email accounts. I have yet to see anyone come close to this.

4) You can add any function you like to your site. There are many different programs out there that allow you to do things such as newsletters. You simply need to install them onto your site and configure them.

Again, think of hosting as the building for your business. What you do within your account is almost entirely up to you, but that would be your responsibility to get it set up and configured> We do, of course, support the servers that your hosting is on and will do our best to answer any questions as you go along. We do offer site building services separately if you wish to check into those. I hope this helps!

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
