Are there pros and cons? I am a novice, but I notice a lot of comments on "how to go from Premium Builder to Word Press.

Thank you for your question grampy6!

The premium web builder is good for putting up a website really quick with basic functionality. The Templates are limited to whats in the builder so if someone does not want to use any of those templates, they will have to change builders.

WordPress on the other hand, has many templates available and templates can be made custom. WordPress also has plugins available for many functions like eCommerce, Slideshows and more. More advanced websites can be constructed with WordPress.

Really the bottom line for using the build row WordPress is what you want to do with the website. If you want more advanced functionality, then WordPress would be a better suit for your needs. If you want a basic website to be easily edited, then you may like the builder. I hope this helps.

James R
