Cannot log into WP Dashboard
My website has a theme compatibility issue with WP 3.6+ so I downgraded it to 3.5.2 for the time being. Upon doing so, the website itself works fine and looks like it should. However, when I try to log into the dashboard at this link: http://rubyjavaid.com/wp-admin/, it gives me the following message: "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

This issue is typically caused due to a plugin within your site as many users have reported the same thing. I recommend removing any plugins that you have enabled as this should remove the error. Also, I highly recommend against running older versions of WordPress as old versions can have security flaws causing your site to become hacked quite quickly. Rather than keeping an old version, the better solution is to update the theme accordingly for newer versions of WordPress. |
