FTP error in Dreamweaver?

I followed the instructions on the publish your site with dreamweaver page and when I went to "put" my site the following error message came up:
An FTP error occured. cannot open server folder public_html/. Access denied. The file does not exist or there could be a permission problem.

Hello shanaran, I checked your permissions for the public_html folder and they are correct. You will want to ensure that you have the server set up prior to attempting to publish the site. The server setup instructions can be found int he link below: Configure Main Domain Server Settings in Dreamweaver CS5 Or, if you are working with an addon domain instead, follow these instructions: Configure Addon Domain Server Settings in Dreamweaver CS5 Best Regards, Scott M
