After wordpress was updated to point to my new primary domain it was not showing my custom header picture with the church theme. It had an x with a box. I tried to update it, refresh the image, delete it and reupload the image but it is still not fixing the issue. It will allow me to use the original church image, but it is not leting me use an image from the media library. Any suggestions?

Hello skippastep,

Thank you for your question today. The issue likely lies in the database where the old URL is stored and needs to be replaced for specific images.

I would be happy to take a look at your specific account, but there is no identifying information in the question such as the domain name of the site. If you wish to reply to this answer with the domain name, I can certainly take a look and correct the issue. I then can give a full explanation of what the issue was and how it was fixed here as well so anyone else having the same issue can find the answer.

If you are uncomfortable giving the domain name in a reply, you may send it to docs@webhostinghub.com. Be sure to leave a reply here letting us know you have done so as that particular email address is not monitored for incoming mail on a regular basis.

Kindest regards,
Scott M

Hello skippastep,

We did receive your email, but it looks like when we attempt to go to your website, all of the images appear to pull up without issues.

In your email you mentioned that you thought you fixed the issue, but then that everything changed again to only seeing a X instead of the background picture.

Currently we're seeing a wood pattern on the background of the entire site, and a picture of a man on a horse directly below your menu.

Was there a particular page that was causing these missing images for you? Because it looks like on the main site itself, and any links I click on, all images are showing up without any issues. We tried with Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer and the site looked the same.

I do see that you .htaccess file was recently modified, and there were some rules in there relating to images. Did you possibly correct this issue yourself?

Please provide us with any additional details at all of the problem you're having, if it's still happening for you and we'd be glad to take a closer look.

- Jacob
