On my old web host, you could type in an address without .htm at the end and it would load the page anyway, but since switching over to web hosting hub, it does not automatically load the right page - it defaults to Error 404. Can I fix this?

Hello Freshiebeth,

I'm not sure which domain name you're typing to get to your website. Or if you're going to a specific page. When I go to the website assigned as your "primary" domain, there is no .htm at the end of the URL and it works with no error. The 404 error that you're seeing is telling you that the page you are requesting does not exist.

I'm not sure, but it is possible that your site was set to use friendly URLs and then moved. If it was moved, the friendly URLs would need to be turned off temporarily, and then re-activated so that the new address can be placed into the database, but it doesn't look you have a database. So we need a little more information.

Can you please provide us some specific information that relates to the URLs that you are accessing? If you want to keep this issue private, then please contact live technical support via phone/chat or email.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
