I've put my website together and published it, but am having a small difficulty with the page names. They don't show up when the link is clicked.

The site address at present directs not only to the home page, but to all the other pages as well. All links come up with the home page address, no extensions added.

I read the Support Center's instructions for updating the .htacess file, but am not sure how to proceed. I'm using FileZilla for the ftp and the .htaccess file has the options Create Directory and Rename. I don't know which to change or what to include.

My domain name is registered with Yahoo and I formerly used Comcast's http upload system, where my home page was home.html, not index.html as it is now. I'd appreciate any advice--I'm very much a newbie. Thanks.

Hi Ceekay,

I'm a little confused by your question. Can you update your question and include your domain name so that we can review further?

Directory Index
Your Directory Index is the first file that loads when you visit your site using only domain.com

If you want home.html to load first, you can update your public_html/.htaccess file and add the following line:
DirectoryIndex home.html

I hope this helps, but like I said, update your question with further details and I'll be more than happy to review further for you.

Thanks!
- Brad
