Hi everybody. I cannot log into my own site.

I tried Tech Support, to include Tier 2 Support, and nobody knows what the problem is. I've been building my site and last had it in maintenance mode. I turned off maintenance mode and navigated to the site on another browser to see what it looked like. However, the only thing I could see was the message SSL CONNECTION ERROR. The URL is now showing the site as https, even though before it was http (I'm pretty certain).

Does anybody have any idea on how to log back into my site? I'm using Drupal 7.39.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about issues logging into Drupal. As a test, I renamed the .htaccess file in your public_html folder to .htaccess.old, and your site began loading. (When I was done testing, I renamed it back to .htaccess.)

Since this indicates a configuration issue in your .htaccess file, I recommend reviewing it for issues. For example, if you recently added any rules to your .htaccess file, I recommend removing them.

If you recently installed something in Drupal, it may be the cause. Since Drupal also uses the .htaccess file it could be caused by a Theme, Extension, or Module.

Also, review any changes you made to your site URL, or SSL settings.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
John-Paul
