I have an older site, WavesofChangenc.com. I created a new site, New.wavesofchangenc.com, in order to develop the new site. Now that the new site is ready, I want to "replace" the the old site, thus giving the new site the old name, and removing the old site completely. Will the instructions "Moving your WordPress to a different folder -- http://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/wordpress/move-different-folder" do all this?

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding moving your WordPress site. Yes, the instructions you mentioned should work. However, it is almost always prudent to make a backup of all your important data and download it to your local machine before any major changes.

Gratefully,
Casey B.
