my_site.com/Home_page.html instead of index.html...
How/what do I modify to get you immediately to my home page? I've kludged a work around but it is not clean.

Hello, Thank you for your question today. If you are wanting to use Home_page.html as your index page, then you will need to make an adjustment to your .htaccess file. The explanation of how this works can be found in the "Changing the Directory Index" section of our article entitled What Directory should I upload my files to? In your case, if the file is indeed named Home_page.html then you will need to add the following line to your .htaccess file: DirectoryIndex Home_page.html Best Regards, Scott M |
