I post my blog for today and I see it but when my wife pulls up my page she gets yesterday's entry. Aren't entries readily available to the public to be viewed?

Hello,

Thanks for the question about the blog entry. Most likely, your browser has cached the previous page and you simply need to clear the cache in order to see the updated page. Try that, and let us know if you continue to have any problems.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C

That is not the answer. If so then people would keep opening up the same page but get the next post. Plus I had a login timeout and was referred to yesterday's post and when I logged in, todays. So, no that is not the answer.

Hello HisCup,

Thank you for contacting us. I checked the website you provided, and I see a post from today. For example:
"BAGGAGE
APRIL 29, 2015 LARRY 2 COMMENTS
1 John 2:19
"

This means today's post is available, and actually has a comment from a visitor.

With browser caching; it basically saves a copy of the site when you visit, then shows you the same site you saw last time when you revisit. (to save time). This setting differs based on each computer/user settings. Usually clearing the cache will cause the persons browser to download an updated version of the site. This could very well be the cause.

As a test, have your wife try on a different browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE, etc.

Alternately, if you are using a 3rd party caching plugin in WordPress there may be a delay set there. For example, to only update daily.

If your wife is on a commercial network (such as college, or coffee shop) they may have caching set. Try connecting from a different network, such as a home wifi.

We are happy to help you troubleshoot further, but will need some additional information.

Are there other posts from today that are missing?

Any additional information that will help us test or narrow down the problem?

Thank you,
John-Paul
