Hello ThePaleoDish, and thanks for your question. If you would like for your images in WordPress to link externally somewhere, instead of to the image file itself, this can easily be done from the dashboard. When you create a new page or post, if you click on Add Media and then the Media Library tab, you should see the images you've added to WordPress. Click on the image you wish to add, then in the options on the right, under the ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS settings, change the Link To drop-down to Custom URL and enter in the URL you'd like people to go to when the image is clicked on.
