Hi, I just signed up this morning and I am in the early stages of set-up through WordPress. I just installed it and clicked on both the public and the admin URLs, and got the message "Safari can't find Server". Is this normal? Is there just some delay? Have I missed a step or am I just not at the point yet where I should be able to see it? Thank you in advance for your assistance. I am very new to this.

Hello, and thank you for your question.

If you've just signed up for hosting with Web Hosting Hub, and are using an existing domain name, you need to make sure that you have changed your name servers to point to Web Hosting Hub.

Any DNS changes to a domain, can take between 4-24 hours to fully propagate. So don't expect to see your changes reflected right away.

During DNS propagation time, you can go ahead and use your website's temporary URL to directly access your website on our servers without using your domain name which would still be propagating.

For WordPress, it is sometimes more helpful to modify your hosts file instead. This would force your computer to go ahead and start resolving your domain name to our server, without asking the Internet name servers for the current records. Doing it this way, you wouldn't need to modify WordPress at all to function properly over the temporary URL, and then after your DNS records are done propagating you don't need to go back and make any changes, just remove the entries from your hosts file.

If you would like for Web Hosting Hub to not only host your website, but also maintain your domain registration, then you would want to transfer your domain name to Web Hosting Hub.

Please let us know if you had any further questions at all.
