I added an addon domain and installed Wordpress. I tried to get wordpress on temp URL by editing config file but it's not working. It's not pointing anywhere. I want to build the site on the temp URL before I point it to your servers. The domain is currently a live site in Blogger, I want to migrate to Wordpress. I don't want to point it to the webhosting hub until the new site is built and posts are migrated. How can I build the site on the temp url?

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding building WordPress on a temp URL. While you may be able to install WordPress on your Temp URL, it can have issues with some themes, or plugins.

Instead, I recommend installing WordPress on your addon domain, then testing with a host file modification. This will allow you to test privately until you are ready to go live. Then, point the domain to our servers when you are ready to go live.

Thank you,
John-Paul
