hi,

we currently host our wordpress blog with another provider and are extremely unhappy with their service, and want to migrate away from them.

One of the features they offer with their hosting is managed wordpress upgrades: when a new wordpress version becomes available, they upgrade our installation to the latest version.

While this is something we could do relatively easily, it is not something we want to do, and it is one of the requirements we have for a hosting provider.

Is this something you can offer?

Hello BrettCave,

As updates can interrupt the functionality of plugins on a wordpress site, we do not update automatically. That is up to each account owner.

As you said, it is quite simple as Wordpres will give you a one click update button inside your admin dashboard. Plugin updates may be required afterwards, and as we do not track which updates are on any account, nor their updating schedule, they would simply need to be reinstalled/updated by the account owner as well.

You may want to contact our website design team as they may have a package where they could design a site and have auto updates included. You can find more information here.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
