Hello Community Support,

In my WordPress General Settings page, I noticed that my Site URL was the same as the WordPress URL: acupuncturistinny.com/wp. I changed the Site URL to acupuncturistinny.com because that's the address I want my clients to use. I'm still getting the message: This website is currently under construction.
Please advise - I have no computer language training.

Hello Nyacupuncturist,

We're not using any programming in this issue. The problem is that you installed Wordpress specifically to the path you indicated above:

http://acupuncturistinny.com/wp

Wordpress uses this definition to get to the installation. If you want to change it to something else - this can be done, but you have to change a few things. Here are the instructions FROM Wordpress on making this change. Again, this is NOT using a programming language -you're just making changes in text. If you're not familiar with the working with files and changing text, then refer to the link below (on using Cpanel File Manager). Here are the instructions from Wordpress:

Changing the Site URL for Wordpress

The information for changing files is:

Using File manager

Look for the section that reads: how to edit files with File manager.
