Does the full site backup include Wordpress Data?

Does the full site backup in cPanel include all of my wordpress data such as posts?

Or would you recommend a secondary back-up method besides the one on cPanel to preserve data?

Great question about backing up your WordPress site. Yes, the full cPanel backup should include your WordPress data such as Pages and Posts. WordPress stores Posts and Pages in a MySQL database and databases are included in the full cPanel backup.
