enable remote access wordpress
I thought when I accidentally posted this that I was doing a search on the terms - I wanted to update stuff via blogpress on the ipad - but then I found I could do it straight into wp on my ipad, so the question is moot. I'll close it if I can.

Regarding your question, I'm not sure what you're asking. By its nature, it is always "remote" since it's on the Web. You can access the administrator by simply putting in the URL.
