Hi socialconsumerindex,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your new WordPress theme. While looking into this for you, I found that the metric theme is a child theme of the Genesis framework. The Genesis framework will need to be installed as well in order for the Child Theme to work correctly. I found the following information from the theme developer that will walk you through installing a Genesis Child Theme and Genesis Framework:

How to Install Genesis or a Child Theme

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
