Hi, When I try to upload a blog post to Facebook or Bloglovin the feature post pic is not showing up. Instead it is showing a picture of my blog logo and a 404 error. If the user clicks on this picture/404 error text it DOES send them to the proper blog post. However this does not look professional. On the blog post creation page I do have the 'show featured picture' box clicked, and the featured picture is showing up in my posts just not in social media posting.

I use Divi Builder by Elegant Themes. I have tried to configure different things in the settings to fix this but nothing I've tried is working. Blogloving suggested that the pictures are not showing up on their feed because it might be something with the RSS feed? They suggested I contact my web provider... I am wondering if I may fix this in the Cpanel. I really don't know and am hoping you can help.

Can you help me with this

Hello!

Thanks for posting your question regarding the featured image when sharing your post to Facebook. I'm sorry to see this unexpected behavior is occurring. It is difficult to pinpoint the exact reason/resolution for this kind of issue. This is due to the fact that the server does not provide any details as to how Facebook is automatically detecting the image to display in your shared post. Additionally, your server/cPanel settings would not affect the way Facebook was developed to retrieve the image for shared posts/pages. However, Facebook has a debugger tool to help you develop your website for compatibility with post/page sharing. If you can obtain the details/errors that debugger detects, then you can take action accordingly. Feel free to (remove any personal information and) leave a comment with any errors that tool detects. With those details we may be able to assist in finding a resolution further. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Carlos D
