Having Link/Image issue w/BOLDGRID Hydra Theme in WP.
Setup path - WP BoldGrid/Customize/Active site/Header-footer widgets/Sidebar/Visual editor. In the pre-defined sidebar widget box, I use visual editor to link an Amazon "Link" to an Item Image but when I test image/Link on the active site, the path is not recognized. It says "server DNS address could not be found" Any Help much appreciated!

Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues with your widgets. You did not give the domain you are having issues with, but I did find an active one using BoldGrid. I assume that is the one you are having issues with. I was able to add a link to a site as a test without issue. Did you test other links or is it specifically that link? Have you tested on another theme? (possibly in the staging area so as not to interrupt your live site.) Did you hotlink to the image or upload it to your server first? We do not recommend hotlinking to the image (directly calling it from Amazon) as other servers can put protections in place to block those. Also, they could remove or change the image at any time, and that would affect your site as well. The technician you spoke with should have asked the same questions and had you provide the specific link and tested it for you as well. I apologize if they did not. Please give any information you feel comfortable with here in the public area (such as the specific link for testing.) If it is too specific or you are uncomfortable with giving the information here in public, you will need to have Live Support as they are also trained to handle BoldGrid issues.
