Hi olukay,

Great question about inserting tables into a WordPress page. You actually have a couple of options here.

You can switch to the HTML view when editing/creating your page and add the HTML code for a table in the editor.

If you're not comfortable adding HTML code, you can install a WordPress Plugin instead such as TinyMCE Advanced or WP-Table Reloaded. The TinyMCE Advanced plugin will allow you to add a table menu to your editor so that you can easily add tables on the fly to any Post or Page. The WP-Table Reloaded plugin will allow you to create a table and then insert that table into a Post or Plugin using a shortcode.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.

For help on HTML Table options go here
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp

You will find a great resource for HTML.

Personally I like placing code in my page as apposed to using widgets.

You can also take your word doc and save it as html then grab the code from the file created, to place in your page. You will have to modify it a little to handle the image location and place the image in a folder on your site.

Hope this helps.
